Simon Pearson
Simon was a leading journalist at The Times for many years.
His first book – a Sunday Times best-seller – was The Great Escaper (Hodder), a biography based on new material about Roger Bushell - the mastermind behind the mass breakout from Stalag Luft III in 1944 - immortalised in the famous film The Great Escape.
Simon subsequently co-wrote a history of The Battle of Britain for Hodder which was published in 2020.
Simon’s next book is a biography of Sir Magdi Yacoub, the pioneering heart surgeon.
