Tudor is a historian, writer, broadcaster, traveller and adventurer.  Tudor specialises in the study of Jewish communities around the world.  He is Emeritus Professor of Modern Jewish Studies at SOAS and Distinguished Professor at Florida International University.

Tudor is the author of The Lost Tribes of Israel and the groundbreaking The Lost Ark of the Covenant (HarperCollins).  

He is an accomplished TV presenter whose TV series include Quest for the Lost Ark and The Lost Tribe.
