Hugh McManners

 

Hugh is Director of the Scars of War Research Foundation – a cutting-edge neuroscience unit at Oxford University, researching the psychological effects of war.

Hugh served as a Major in the British Armed Forces for 18 years and fought in the Falklands War with the special forces.  He was subsequently Defence Correspondent for the Sunday Times.

As well as writing Forgotten Voices of the Falklands (Ebury) in association with IWM, Hugh has written Falklands Commando and Outdoor Survival Guide (DK).
