Christopher is a film and music writer who frequently contributes to newspapers and magazines on both sides of the Atlantic.  He is the author of books on iconic figures such as Bowie (Little Brown) and The Rolling Stones (Simon & Schuster).  

He has also written a number of very successful historical biographies including The Final Over (The History Press) charting the cricketing summer of 1914 and Houdini & Conan Doyle (Duckworth) exploring the relationship these two men had with spirituality and each other.

This autumn The History Press will publish his seminal work on the iconic year of 1964
